    The momentum swung in the second quarter and the Chapman University women’s basketball team rode the wave to an 80-74 win over Pomona-Pitzer. Sophomore Julianna Campas and senior Lucy Criswell each had 23 points in the big early season win.

    Facing the third top-10 lead in the last three weeks, the Chapman University women’s basketball team fell 62-58 to No. 6 Amherst to start the new year. Both teams put up strong defensive efforts in a game that came down to the final moments.

    The Chapman University women’s basketball team fell 93-81 to No. 3 Bowdoin to close out the 2019 portion of its schedule. Sophomore Julia Strand scored 25 points but the Polar Bears (11-0) pulled away down the stretch to stay undefeated.
  • Women’s basketball falls to Cal Lutheran 76-70

    The Chapman University women’s basketball team fell 76-70 to the visiting Cal Lutheran Regals (3-6, 1-1 SCIAC) earlier this evening. Sophomore Julianna Campas led the effort with 24 points for the Panthers (5-4, 1-1 SCIAC).
