By breaking her own school record on Saturday in the 200-yard breaststroke, Chapman University freshman Nathalie Klein put the exclamation point on a successful run for the Panthers at the Pacific Coast Swim Conference championships at Belmont Plaza this weekend.
The Chapman University womens swimming and diving team earned a 188-45 victory over visiting Caltech on Sunday at the Allred Aquatics Center. The win was highlighted by a career-best performance from freshman diver Chelsey Hanle to open the meet and a strong swim from the Panthers 800-yard freestyle relay team to close the competition.
Chapman University womens relay teams each placed first in the 200-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle events against visiting Biola University at the Allred Aquatics Center on Saturday. Despite that, the Panthers lost the womens swimming and diving competition by a score of 125-114 in their first home dual meet of the season.
