    The Chapman University men’s water polo team snapped a five-game losing streak with a 14-9 win over Caltech earlier this evening. Nine different Panthers scored goals while freshman goalkeeper Owen McNicholas put up a career-high eight saves.

    The Chapman University men’s water polo team fell in an early hole and never recovered as it fell 11-6 to visiting Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday. Sophomore Graham Asalone scored four of the Panthers’ six goals.

    Netminder Wes Hertel suited up for three of four contests this week with the men’s water polo team, tallying 42 total saves to earn SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week honors. 
  • Asalone earns SCIAC honor after explosive week

    Sophomore Graham Asalone helped lead the men’s water polo team to two home wins this week, earning SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week. The attacker contributed to a total of eight goals and eight assists to propel the Panthers to a 2-0 start to conference play.

    A big third quarter helped push the Chapman University men’s water polo team to a 13-11 victory over the visiting Redlands Bulldogs earlier this afternoon. Sophomore Graham Asalone helped lead the Panthers, contributing to eight goals with five goals scored and three assists.

    The Chapman University men’s water polo team started off its conference schedule with a 13-9 win over visiting Occidental on Wednesday. The Panthers pulled ahead in the second quarter to take control of the match and never relinquished the lead.
