Cresci and Hernandez are top finishers at West Regionals

Chapman University sophomores Chris Cresci and Angelica Hernandez were the program’s top finishers at the NCAA Division III West Region championships in Claremont on Saturday. On the men’s side, Cresci placed 78th overall with a time of 28:59.56 in the 8-kilometer race. Meanwhile, Hernandez came in 92nd in the women’s final with a time of 26:15.12 in the 6K. [more]

Chapman University freshman Chris Cresci has been named to the Association of Division III Independents All-Independent men’s cross country team. The rookie earned honorable mention honors after being Chapman’s top finisher at the West Regionals last month. [more]

Weber leads Panthers at cross country regionals
Freshman runner Lillian Weber was Chapman University’s top finisher at the NCAA Division III West Region championships at Bush Park on Saturday. Weber finished in 105th place overall with a time of 26:19.06 in the event which wrapped up the 2008 cross country season for the Panthers.
