Women's tennis suffers 9-0 loss to Redlands

SEAL BEACH, Calif. – The Chapman University women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Redlands on Saturday.

The day after dropping a 5-4 heartbreaker to Whittier, the Panthers couldn't rebound as they were swept by Redlands. The Bulldogs swept through the doubles matches with wins of 8-0, 8-2 and 8-4.

All the singles matches were decided in straight sets for the Bulldogs to quickly clinch the win. Senior Madeline Saunders fell 6-1, 6-4 in the top singles match as she saw her winning streak snapped at three matches.

The Panthers head to Caltech on Friday for a 2 p.m. match with the Beavers.
