  • ITA academic awards recognize six Panthers, women’s tennis team

    Six student-athletes and the Chapman university women’s tennis team garnered academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The six Panthers to earn individual recognition were split evenly among the men’s and women’s tennis teams.

    Senior Madeline Saunders earned All-SCIAC First Team honors in her final year on the Chapman University women’s tennis team. The Panthers lone senior finished her career with 42 singles wins – third-most in Chapman’s history.

    The Chapman University women’s tennis team ended its season on a high note, defeating Whittier 4-3 in the seventh place match at the SCIAC Tournament. The Panthers previously fell to Cal Lutheran earlier in the day.
