Farrell became the team's pitching coach in 2012. The Southern California native played four seasons at the University of Notre Dame as a pitcher from 2005-09. Prior to earning a scholarship to Notre Dame, Farrell was a standout pitcher at Sonora High where she was a two-time League MVP and four-time All-Conference selection. In 2004, she pitched every inning of her team’s season, totaling 227 innings, 319 strikeouts and a 0.03 ERA.
