College baseball writers name Rauh Pitcher of the Year

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has named Chapman University freshman pitcher Brian Rauh its NCAA Division III Pitcher of the Year for the 2010 season. Rauh, who picked up four-of-eight first-place votes, also earned ABCA and D3Baseball.com first-team All-America honors with an 11-0 record in his first collegiate season. [more]

Rookie headlines Chapman's All-West Region nods

The Chapman University baseball team was once again one of the best teams in the West Region in 2010. So it comes as no surprise that a quartet of Panthers have been selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association Division III All-West Region team. Nine selected to All-Independent baseball teams; Luzar, Rauh, Parr take top honors
The trio of Matt Luzar, Brian Rauh and James Parr earned top honors, while nine Chapman University baseball players were named to the 2010 All-Independent teams as announced Friday by the Association of Division III Independents.
